Cobalt content (%)

Carbide is a mixture of tungsten carbide particles bound by cobalt metal. More cobalt = more value. CNC inserts typically have 6–15% cobalt. Mining buttons often yield 10–20%. Test and tell us exactly what grade you have.

Grade & type sorting
